last post of library jazz series sketches
I attended the last music series held at Hartford library performed by Mr. Emery Smith.
I sketched in marker and pen and ink. As Mr emery set up I there were patrons relaxing in conversation and during his performance his music and the mood conjured up what my city used to be and even the urgency to apply wisdom to today's issues.

Jazz on Sunday - Micheal Gregory Jackson
'Micheal Gregory Jackson at Hartford Library'
pencil on paper
Sunday was another one of those quiet ones that I decided to check out the Hartford Public Library's Baby Grand Jazz Series held on Sunday until early April. Brought my pencil and pad and sketched seasoned guitar player Micheal Gregory Jackson. He's played around the world and with the Legendary Rolling Stones. My mind wondered as I sat in front with a few artist friends enjoyed the music.

Jazz sketches
Yesterday I decided to go to the Hartford Public Library baby grand jazz, a free music series offered to the public on Sunday. The Jazz musician Craig Hartley performed. I hadn't sketch live in a while. I packed my pencils and erasers and pad in two plastic bags, didn't won't a pencil to poke through. Above are sketches I while there, they are pencil on paper about 12"x9".
